This selection ranges from the romanticism of Francisco TĂĄrrega, the Spanish impressionism of AlbĂ©nizâs Mallorca and the neo-romanticism of the contemporary Croatian composer, Stjepan Ć ulek, to Rodrigoâs masterly evocation of the gardens of the Alhambra Palace in Granada and Brittenâs revolutionary Nocturnal after John Dowland. Croatian guitarist Srdjan Bulat has won numerous prestigious awards, and was winner of the Certamen TĂĄrrega 2011 which included a special award for his performance of the work of Francisco TĂĄrrega.
